Former Montana Grizzly standout Dante Olson has been released by the Philadelphia Eagles for the second time this season.

The team announced on Monday that Olson and receiver Marcus Green were being released from the practice squad to make room for new additions in tight end Hakeem Butler and linebacker Rashad Smith.

This ends Olson's second stint with the Eagles this season. Olson was added to Philadelphia's practice squad on Oct. 8. The 2019 Buck Buchanan Award winner was signed to the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in April after the NFL Draft but was waived in August.

The Medford, Oregon native and linebacker set a Griz record with 397 career tackles during his time at UM. He also set a Big Sky Conference single-season record in 2019 with 179 tackles.
