FRENCHTOWN -- The Seeley-Swan boys basketball team advanced to the Western C divisional tournament on Monday with a 55-41 victory over Alberton-Superior in a challenge game to wrap up the District 13C tournament.
Walker McDonald led the Blackhawks with 16 points and Dakota Wood added 14 while Seth Richardson tallied 11. Seeley-Swan led 34-28 going into the fourth quarter but found its groove on offense to run away from the Mountain Cats down the stretch.
Danner Haskins scored 21 points for the Mountain Cats, including five made 3-pointers, all of which came in the first half.
