MISSOULA — Samori Toure is taking his talents from the Big Sky to the Big Ten.
The former Montana Griz receiver announced on Twitter on Monday morning that he was transferring to Nebraska to continue his college football career.
"Grateful for the opportunity," Toure posted. "Let's get to work."

Toure spent the past four seasons at UM, redshirting his first year, but broke out in a big way in 2019. The Portland, Oregon, native, helped Montana to a 10-4 record and the quarterfinal round of the FCS Playoffs as he racked up 87 catches for 1,495 yards and 13 touchdowns. His catches and yards on the season both broke UM school records, and Toure was named an All-American by numerous outlets and was also a first-team all-Big Sky Conference selection.
Toure's 303 receiving yards against Southeastern Louisiana set a new FCS record for receiving yards in a playoff game. In total, Toure finished his career at UM with 155 catches for 2,488 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Toure was named a preseason all-American heading into 2020 before the season was postponed to the spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Toure announced in November that he was entering the transfer portal. Toure graduated in the winter and is eligible to play as a grad transfer.
