GREAT FALLS – The Billings Scarlets opened their season with a doubleheader sweep over the Great Falls Chargers on Saturday at Centene Stadium.
The Scarlets trailed 1-0 in the fifth inning of game one before claiming a 6-4 win. In game two, Billings dominated offensively on the way to a 17-1 win to begin the season 2-0.
