BOZEMAN – The Billings Aquatic Club had several boys and girls break team or state records as they swept the team titles at the 2018 Montana State Long Course Championships.
Former Billings Senior star Ethan Harder broke the Montana State record in the 50 fly with a time of 26.4 seconds.
The team records kept falling as well. Vanessa Sheridan, Rylee O’Neil, Brennen O’Neil, Syd O’Neil and Brayden Arnold all broke club records in their age divisions on the way to event wins.
The Stingrays also took home the overall title at the 2-day championship event.

Claire Kaufman picked up her first Senior Sectionals Cut and an Age Group Zones Cut in the 200 Fly (2:33.0).
Brennen O’Neil broke the 11-12 BAC Team Record in the 800 (10:49.1).
Syd O’Neil broke the 13-14 BAC Team Record in the 800 (10:03.3).
Brayden Arnold set the 17 and Over BAC Team Record in the 800 (9:03.2).
Ethan Harder broke the 17 and Over BAC Team Record in the 200 IM (2:09.5).
