LAS VEGAS – Steady rain at Majestic Park has canceled all games scheduled to be played on Saturday at the 2019 Desert Stinger Classic softball tournament, event officials announced Saturday afternoon.
Fields were declared unplayable at 9:40 a.m. by officials, at which point the tournament entered a weather delay with a tentative start time of 2 p.m. Further evaluation of playing conditions at approximately 12:15 p.m., along with an unfavorable weather forecast for the remainder of the day, resulted in the decision to cancel all games scheduled for Saturday.
All games scheduled for Sunday will be played on time until further notice.
