LARAMIE, Wyo. – University of Wyoming head football Coach Craig Bohl has issued the following statement regarding 2019 Wyoming football signee Naphtali Moi Moi of Hayward, Calif., who is missing off the coast of Half Moon Bay, Calif., after being caught in a rip tide while boogie boarding.

“We have been talking with Naphtali’s family, and our hearts go out to the entire Moi Moi family at this extremely difficult time,” said Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl. “As a Cowboy Football family, we are all thinking of and praying for Naphtali, his family and his friends.”

Moi Moi signed a national letter of intent with the University of Wyoming football program as a member of Wyoming’s 2019 recruiting class. He played his high school football at Hayward High School in Hayward, Calif., and was scheduled to join the Cowboy Football team this coming summer.
