Bozeman wrestling takes down Great Falls CMR in dual

GREAT FALLS – The Bozeman High wrestling team dominated in a road dual at Great Falls CMR, leaving Great Falls with a 51-18 win.

The Rustlers started with a 12-0 edge after two forfeit wins at 103 and 113 pounds. Bozeman answered with a 9-3 Tayt Rogers decision at 120 and pins from Sterling Quinn and Leif Schroeder at 126 and 132 pounds, respectively, to take a 15-12 lead.

Carter Carroll responded for CMR with a second-period pin at 138 pounds to put the Rustlers back up 18-15.

But at 145, Brock Rodruigues notched a 5-4 decision over defending Class AA state champion Kai Stewart to tie the dual at 18. Oklahoma State commit Chance McLane earned a pin at 152 to put Bozeman up for good.
