BOZEMAN — Just a few days after Bozeman High School was ranked as one of the best high school sports programs in the nation, two Hawks who have contributed a lot to that success signed letters of intent to continue their careers in college.

Annika Danenhauer, who plays golf for the Hawks, has decided to continue her career for the hometown Montana State Bobcats, while her classmate Sophia Robinson is headed to Concordia College in Minnesota to play soccer.

Both Danenhauer and Robinson are state champions in their respective sports, and while one Hawk is staying home and the other is leaving the nest, both have found their perfect fit.

“I’m super excited to represent Montana State,” Danenhauer said. “I have been looking up to them for a lot of years, especially just being right down the road from us. I have a lot to live up to, but I’m super excited to be representing them.”

“Ever since I was little I have wanted to go, but I’ve always wanted to be closer to family still,” added Robinson “So that was kind of a happy medium because I have lots of family there, so I got to find both things in one place.”
