Helena girls top Great Falls CMR 70-32 to remain undefeated

GREAT FALLS – Four players scored in double figures, and the Helena girls blew out Great Falls CMR on the road 70-32.

Senior post Jamie Pickens led the Bengals with 16 points, Abby Marcille added 14. Vanessa Walsh and Paige Aasved added 13 apiece. Marley Calliham led CMR with 11 points, while Allie Olsen added seven points.

The two-time defending Class AA champs move to 6-0 on the season, while the Rustlers fall to 1-5. The Bengals will face Missoula Sentinel on Saturday in a rematch of the 2018 state championship game to open Western AA play.

Great Falls CMR will open conference play on the road Saturday at Butte.
