We’re already halfway through the fall sports season and from here on out the performances get bigger, the plays get better, and the stakes get higher. Here are this week’s KRTV MTN Gamechangers.

5. Butte Cobras at Great Falls Americans hockey

During a break in the action. KRTV meteorologist Elizabeth Copeland shooting a shot from mid-ice for cash. She hits the tiny target and takes home $250!

4. Missoula Hellgate at Billings Skyview

The Knights can’t be stopped! Trickery here – the screen turns into a wide receiver pass over the middle! Fisher Richardson takes it down inside the five. Hellgate wins back to back games for the first time since 2001, 41-27.

3. Helena Capital at Great Falls CMR

Late in the second quarter, CMR throws deep into coverage. Capital’s Gus Hanson comes down with the interception off the deflection and works his way back deep into CMR territory. The heads up play helped Capital win, 24-8.

2. Hobson-Moore-Judith Gap at Joliet

Tri-City’s Jordan Nees takes the handoff to his left, nowhere to go so he reverses all the way back to the right and scores! Runs about 100 yards for the 45-yd TD. Joliet wins the battle of unbeaten teams though, 52-40.

1. Shelby at Centerville

This was the play of the game, Damon Irvin finds Wyatt Brusven to the right. He jukes out a defender, turns upfield, almost falls down, gets hit but miraculously stays on his feet and somehow waltzes in to score on the craziest touchdown. Coyotes stay undefeated 50-0.
