BILLINGS – Billings Skyview jumped out to a 35-28 halftime lead and answered every Bozeman rally down the stretch, as the Falcons upset the Hawks, 62-56, on Thursday night.

Skyview’s size played a huge factor all night. The tandem of Zach Schacht and Julius Mims earned the Falcons extra possessions time after time, and Skyview made Bozeman pay.

Skyview opened up an 11-point lead in the third quarter, but Bozeman quickly responded on a long buzzer-beating 3 from Carter Ash to make it 49-44 after three quarters of play.

Skyview took control early in the fourth quarter. The Falcons opened on an 11-4 run to open up a 12-point advantage with under two minutes left.

A rebound follow by Mims and a slicing lay up from Daniel Davis highlighted the run.

Skyview returned to the .500 mark in league play with the win.
