GREAT FALLS — The defending Class AA champion Great Falls CMR boys opened the season with a 64-48 win over Kalispell Glacier on Friday.
Bryce Depping led all scorers with 17 points, Keegan Barnes added 16 and Brendan Lindseth added 10 for the Rustlers who led 36-24 at halftime and held on the rest of the way.
CMR (1-0) will face Kalispell Flathead (0-1) on Saturday afternoon, while Glacier (0-1) will travel across the river to face Great Falls High (1-0).
