Kalispell Glacier boys, girls take dual with Great Falls High

GREAT FALLS – Kalispell Glacier saw several athletes hit state qualifying marks as the Wolfpack boys and girls swept Great Falls High in a dual at Memorial Stadium on Friday.

The Glacier boys won 81-64, while the Wolfpack girls prevailed 89-56.

Defending Class AA javelin champ Evan Todd threw for 184 feet, 10 inches, which was nearly 30 feet further than his closest competitor.

Glacier’s Mya Mcneely qualified for state in the girls shot put with a toss of 37-05. Katie Dixon is also state bound with a 122-01 girls javelin throw.

Wolfpack teammates Faith Brennan and Taylor Brisendine both hit state qualifying marks in the triple jump with leaps of 35-01.75 and 34-06.75 respectively.

Great Falls High’s lone state qualifying mark came from Gabe Longin in the long jump, with a mark of 21-01
