BILLINGS — Day 1 of the 2020 all-class state wrestling tournaments is over, and southwest Montana had a strong showing in every class Friday.
Butte and Bozeman sit fourth and fifth in the Class AA overall team scores. Dillon's Cooper Hoffman finds himself in the 170-pound Class A semifinal round, where he'll take on Conner Schwend of Hardin in pursuit of his second straight state finals match. And the Whitehall Trojans have quietly put themselves in contention for the State B-C title, sitting fourth overall in the team standings.
