GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls High boys basketball team (10-1) avenged its only loss of the season in dominant fashion, topping Bozeman High 70-33 on Saturday afternoon.

In January, the Hawks (9-3) shocked the Bison 79-76 for Great Falls High’s first loss of the season.

On Saturday, Drew Wyman led the Bison with 21 points, while Tarel Rollins poured in a season-high 19 points while hitting five 3-pointers.

Ryan Barnes led the Hawks with eight points off the bench, all coming in the fourth quarter.

The Bison built a 23-6 lead after the first quarter and led 39-14 at halftime. They pushed the lead to 40 points in the third, triggering a running clock before coach Bob Howard removed his starters.

Great Falls High moves one step closer to clinching the No. 1 seed in the Eastern AA playoffs. The Bison have regular-season games remaining against Billings Senior, Billings Skyview and Billings West.

Skyview (10-2) is currently second in the standings.
