Bozeman High, Gallatin boys squeak past Great Falls schools

BOZEMAN — Gallatin County featured two Class AA boys basketball games Saturday afternoon: Bozeman High versus Great Falls High and Bozeman Gallatin versus Great Falls CMR.

It was a tough, contested battle in Bozeman High's gym, but the Hawks held on in the final minute, squeaking past Great Falls High by three points, 79-76.

Bozeman's win featured 10 different scorers, with three players finishing in double digits: Jackson Bayse (20 points), Bryson Zanto (15) and Ty Huse (13).

Bayse hit five of the Hawks' 13 3-pointers Saturday afternoon.

Drew Wyman (28 points) and Levi Torgerson (23) finished in double digits for Great Falls High.

Over at Gallatin, it was a back-and-forth game as well, but the Raptors held on in the final quarter, ousting CMR 59-52.
