Carroll College basketball sweeps Lewis-Clark State

HELENA– The Carroll College Fighting Saints women’s basketball team downed the Lewis-Clark State Warriors by a score of 61-56. Both teams struggled from the floor with the Warriors sinking 20 of their 47 shots, and Saints sinking only 20 of their 54, but it was free throws that helped the Saints Thursday night.

The Saints put away six more shots from the charity stripe, and the Warriors turned the ball over 10 more times.

Hannah Dean led the Saints with 21 points and seven rebounds, and Jossilyn Blackman led the Warriors with 10 points and seven rebounds.

HELENA — The Fighting Saints men’s team continued its romp over the Frontier Conference with an 85-69 win over the Warriors Thursday night. Three Saints found their way into double-digit points, but Dane Warp led the way with 25 points and four rebounds. The Warriors were led by Race Martin, who had 17 points.
