HELENA — After holding steadfast at No. 8 in the newest NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll, the Fighting Saints’ women’s basketball team made a case to move up on the list.
Down by three points headed into the fourth quarter, Carroll’s Christine Denny was all over the floor, tallying nine points, two blocks and one steal in the final frame to help lead the Saints to a 68-63 comeback win over the Montana Tech Orediggers.
Mollie Peoples led Montana Tech with 20 points and three assists.
HELENA — The Carroll College men’s basketball team beat Montana Tech 79-61 after dropping one spot in the newest NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll to No. 4.
Four Saints had double-digit point figures, but Matt Wyman led the pack with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Former Helena High School standout Taylor England led the Orediggers with 22 points and five rebounds.
