TROY, Mich. – The University of Providence men's hockey team remained at the No. 2 spot in the ACHA Division II West Region rankings that were released on Thursday.
"We're excited," head coach Jeff Heimel said. "We had a good weekend, which is important as we get closer to the end of the season. We need to continue to play well and put ourselves in a good position to make a postseason run."
The University of Mary Marauders, whom the Argos split two games with two weekends ago, retain the top spot in the rankings. Montana State, who the Argos beat and tied with this past weekend, is in the third spot. The top two seeds from each region will get an automatic bye to the National Tournament.
The Argos will travel to Williston State, who is ranked No. 17, over the weekend.
