SAND COULEE -- Centerville quarterback Carson McGinness signed to play football at the University of Montana Western on Tuesday during a ceremony in the Miner gym.

McGinness was joined by his parents, Montana Western defensive line coach Riley Martello and Centerville coach Brian Davison.

“Really relieving to make a decision," McGinness said about signing with the Bulldogs. "I could not do it without my teammates and my family. I am truly blessed to have an opportunity like this.”

During his high school years at Centerville, McGinness also participated in basketball, track and student council and is a member of the National Honor Society. McGinness was an all-conference and all-state selection at quarterback for the Miners as a senior.
