Then they easily handled the Falcons in the championship game. The Cats outscored their opponents by a total of 82-5 over their three games in the tournament.
The Cats, who are a club team with the university, have exploded onto the rugby scene recently as they have become a frequent face at the national tournament in both 15’s and 7’s. Their next step is preparing for the national qualifiers at Air Force on Monday, May 20.
