OGDEN, Utah (March 9, 2019) – It took all season long, but the bracket has been officially set for the 2019 Big Sky Women’s Basketball Championship that will be held March 11-15 at Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho.
Idaho secured the overall No. 1 seed and claimed the Big Sky regular season title. The Vandals will receive a first-round bye and play the winner of the Sacramento State vs Northern Arizona matchup on Tuesday, March 12 at 12:00 p.m. MT.
A total of five teams received first-round byes in this year’s tournament. Northern Colorado earned the No. 2 seed and Idaho State will compete as the No. 3 seed. Portland State and Montana State round out the top five teams with the Vikings the No. 4 seed and the Bobcats getting the No. 5 seed.
