EUGENE, Ore. — Montana athletes Christina Aragon of Billings Senior, Sadi Henderson of Corvallis, Amanda Jaynes of Missoula Sentinel and Makena Morley of Bigfork ran at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field on Thursday.
Aragon, now a sophomore at Stanford, finished second in her heat of the 1,500-meter run to advance to Saturday’s finals. Henderson, a junior at Boise State, placed 22nd in the 800 , and Jaynes, a Montana State senior, finished 21st in the 400-meter hurdles . Morley, who is a sophomore at Colorado, was the only Montanan running in a final on Thursday. She finished 11th to earn second-team all-America honors .
