BOZEMAN – Despite the freezing temperatures, the frozen turf, and the bone-chilling wind, the Montana State men’s lacrosse team opened up their 2018 campaign with a dominant 19-3 victory over Utah State on Friday night.
The Cats were in control the whole game, taking a 7-2 lead into halftime. And as the temperature got colder, the MSU offense heated up. Montana State outscored the Aggies 12-1 in the second half.
Montana State is now 1-0 and hoping to build off their last two seasons where they’ve had a combine record of 24-8.
The Bobcats now have a long break ahead of them, their next game is Saturday Mar. 10 against Fort Lewis
