BOZEMAN – The Montana State Bobcats honored some of their greatest athletes of all-time on Friday night as they held their Bobcat Hall of Fame induction ceremony for the Class of 2017.

Six legendary Bobcats, along with three MSU tennis teams, were enshrined. But when you ask any of the Hall of Famers how they achieved so much, the answer is always the same.

“The big part that I remember is our team we had assembled here that Coach Durham put together,” said basketball inductee Scott Hatler. “We spent a lot of time together in the ‘Rat Gym,’ the weight room. That’s the biggest remembrance I have, and I have a lot of those guys here tonight that are here to support me. And it’s just a testament to what kind of team we had.”

“It wasn’t by myself, I had teammates and great coaches. So for me, I feel like it’s an honor for me. But it’s an honor for me at the time,” said Brandy Anderson, an inductee who played volleyball for the Cats.

Here is the complete list of the 2017 Bobcat Hall of Fame Class:

  • Brent Swaggert – Football
  • Rusty Squire – Skiing
  • Brandy Anderson – Volleyball
  • Corey Smith – Football
  • Federico Ueltschi – Tennis
