BOZEMAN – Montana State freshman Luke Schultz has left the Bobcat basketball program, the University announced on Wednesday.

“Luke informed me of his decision earlier this week,” head coach Brian Fish said. “I support him, appreciate his contributions to the program, and wish him the best.”

Schultz has played in 10 games for the Bobcats, and the 6-foot-11 center was a promising young prospect for the Cats. He now becomes the second player to leave the team in the last month. Freshman Isaac Bonton stepped away back in December.
