Montana Grizzlies, Montana State Bobcats ranked in HERO SPORTS preseason top 25

FARMINGTON, Utah -- It’s never too early to talk football, as HERO SPORTS released its 2020 FCS Preseason Top 25 Wednesday. The Big Sky Conference had five teams recognized in the preseason poll.

The Big Sky led the way with four teams ranked in the top 10 of the polls, followed by the Missouri Valley with three.

Sacramento State earned the No. 4 spot, followed by Weber State at No. 6, Montana at No. 7, Montana State at No. 9, and Eastern Washington at No. 18.

All five teams were ranked in the final top 25 poll of the 2019 season. Sacramento State, Weber State, Montana, and Montana State all represented the Big Sky in the 2019 FCS Playoffs.
