FARMINGTON, Utah – Big Sky Conference football fans from around the country will have the chance to join the annual Big Sky Conference Football Kickoff, which is going virtual this summer.

The Kickoff is scheduled for July 28-29, starting with a State of the Big Sky Conference address from commissioner Tom Wistrcill. The two-day event will also include all 13 head coaches in the league and one student-athlete from each team. Montana will be represented by coach Bobby Hauck and senior wide receiver Samori Toure, while Montana State will have coach Jeff Choate and senior offensive lineman Lewis Kidd participating.

Both Montana and Montana State are scheduled to open their 2020 football seasons on Sept. 5. The Grizzlies are slated to host Central Washington, while the Bobcats have a home game with Long Island University on the schedule.

The conference preseason coaches and media polls and preseason all-conference teams will also be released. Weber State and Sacramento State both posted 7-1 conference records last season, while Montana, Montana State and Eastern Washington all went 6-2 in league play. Weber State (No. 3), Sac State (No. 4), Montana State (No. 5) and Montana (No. 6) were all seeded in the FCS Playoffs, with the Wildcats and Bobcats both reaching the semifinal round.

The virtual media day, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (MT) July 28, will air on Pluto TV Ch. 531.
