State AA girls: Great Falls CMR, Kalispell Glacier move on

BOZEMAN -- The Great Falls CMR and Kalispell Glacier girls each won loser-out contests on Friday morning at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, advancing in the consolation bracket of the Class AA state basketball tournament.

Great Falls CMR 55, Billings Skyview 39

Kiely Gunderson had 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead the CMR girls past Billings Skyview in a loser-out contest Friday morning. Gunderson, who had an ankle-breaking play that resulted in a corner 3-pointer, was also 9 for 10 from the free throw line.

Allie Olsen added 11 points and 12 boards, while Chloe Pace had 12 points in the win.

Skyview was led by Brooke Berry's 17 points and five rebounds.

The Rustlers will square off with either Missoula Sentinel or Billings West in a loser-out game Friday morning at 9 a.m.

Kalispell Glacier 43, Bozeman 38

Aubrie Rademacher had an eye-opening double-double of 15 points and 20 rebounds to lead Kalispell Glacier past hometown Bozeman in a State AA girls basketball loser-out contest on Friday morning. Rademacher was 5-for-14 shooting, while knocking in four free throws. Nine of her 20 rebounds were on the offensive glass for the Wolfpack.

Glacier also got 11 pionts from Kenzie Williams and 10 from Ellie Keller.

Bozeman saw its season come to a close despite Addi Ekstrom's 21 points.

Glacier will meet either Missoula Hellgate or Helena Capital in a Saturday 9 a.m. loser-out game at Schroyer Gym.
