PARK CITY — New coach. New season. New expectations.
As high school teams across Montana opened workouts Friday for the upcoming fall sports season, Ty Baumeister opened his first practice as Park City's new head football coach.
"Try to get here before 7 a.m. ... you guys can get loosened up a little before we start practice and all that," Baumeister explained to his team, which filled about half the small bleacher section in front of him. Setting the tone for expectations, Baumeister continued, "If you guys are late, you'll have an opportunity period, okay. That's your guys' one and only warning."

"It's a lot of excitement. We have a lot to look forward to," Baumeister told MTN Sports before his team's 7 a.m. workout. "(We have) a lot of decent size as well as athleticism."
Park City's season opener is at home Friday, August 28, against Twin Bridges.
