PARK CITY — New coach. New season. New expectations.
As high school teams across Montana began workouts Friday for the upcoming fall sports season, Ty Baumeister opened his first practice as Park City's new head football coach.
"Try to get here before 7 a.m. ... you guys can get loosened up a little before we start practice and all that," Baumeister explained to his team, which filled about half the small bleacher section in front of him. Setting the tone for expectations, Baumeister continued, "If you guys are late, you'll have an opportunity period, OK. That's your guys' one and only warning."

"It's a lot of excitement. We have a lot to look forward to," Baumeister told MTN Sports before his team's 7 a.m. workout. "(We have) a lot of decent size as well as athleticism."
Park City, from the 8-Man South, has its home opener at home on Friday, Aug. 28, against Twin Bridges.
