BILLINGS — A handful of world champions were on display as Rodeo Billings launched its second summer of MontanaFair action Thursday night with the first of three performances at MetraPark.
Helena steer wrestler Ty Erickson, team roping heeler Jade Corkill, tie-down roper Shad Mayfield, breakaway roper Sawyer Gilbert and three-time barrel racing world champion Britanny Pozzi Tonozzi were among those competing.

Rodeo Billings continues Friday and Saturday with 7 p.m. performances and more world champs to come including Miles City's Haven Meged in tie-down roping, and his wife Shelby who is a breakaway roping winner.
