BOZEMAN -- In a move designed to create flexibility for Montana State fans while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create uncertainty around athletic schedules, Bobcat Athletics is implementing a digital ticket procedure for all ticketed sports.

The digital ticketing plan sends all purchased tickets directly to the user’s device, which is scanned upon entrance to the appropriate venue. The process eliminates the wait for mailed tickets and allows for easy transfer to accounts of friends or family members.

“We’re excited to introduce a digital ticketing platform that gives our fans added flexibility in a time of uncertainty,” said MSU Director of Athletics Leon Costello. “Fans receive their tickets on their device very quickly and have the ability to access and utilize them in a manner that is best for them.”

Fans will be able to save their tickets to their digital wallets and open their tickets at the gate of the arena of competition. Management and transfer of digital tickets will take place within a re-designed customer account portal at www.montanastatetickets.com. Fans without access to a smartphone may elect to receive their tickets as a PDF via the Print-at-Home option. Further details will be available in the coming weeks.

Bobcat Athletics will also offer digital game programs this season during the upcoming football, men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball. Those publications available at msubobcats.com.
