FARMINGTON, Utah – Montana State junior Jubrile Belo claimed his second Big Sky Conference weekly honor of his career as the league announced him as the conference's men's basketball player of the week on Monday.

Belo recorded two double-doubles over a two-game stretch of victories against Portland State in Bozeman. In the Bobcats' Jan. 14 victory over the Vikings, Belo scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He also blocked a season-high four shots, all of which came in a decisive second half.

Belo continued to play a big role with another 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Jan. 16 win. Over the course of both matchups Belo went 7 of 9 from the field, had three steals, four assists and made 11 of his 16 free throw attempts.

The London, England, native previously earned the award to end his sophomore campaign. Fellow Bobcat Xavier Bishop has been awarded as the Big Sky men's basketball player of the week twice this season.

Montana State's next three contests take place on the road. The Bobcats are scheduled to face Northern Arizona for a back-to-back series of games beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday in Flagstaff.
