FARMINGTON, Utah -- After guiding Montana State to three wins and a tournament title at UNC Greensboro's Spartan Invitational, senior guard Harald Frey has been named the Big Sky Conference Men's Basketball Ready Nutrition Player of the Week the league announced Tuesday.

On the week, Frey averaged 13.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game in wins over Appalachian State, UNC Greensboro and Tennessee Tech. The Player of the Week award is the third for Frey in his Bobcat career.

Frey played over 37 minutes in all three games for Montana State. Frey scored in double digits in all three games played including a weekend-best 16 in the opening game against Appalachian State on Nov. 15. He followed that effort up with 14 against UNCG which was highlighted by his buzzer beater from beyond half court that eventually was SportsCenter's No. 1 play on Saturday. Frey collected 17 rebounds and dished out 17 assists over the course of three games. He also was strong from the free throw line going 10-for-11.

The Oslo, Norway, native is making his way up Montana State's all-time records list. His 1,460 points rank him ninth in program history and is 14 away from moving to eighth. He's also fourth all-time in assists (402) and third in 3-point field goals made (223).

Montana State closes out a four-game road stand Tuesday in Phoenix when they take on Grand Canyon at 7 p.m.
