MISSOULA -- Year two of head coach Bobby Hauck's quest to return Montana football to dominance officially gets underway next week as the Grizzlies open their 2019 fall training camp.
New and returning players report on Sunday, August 4 for orientation and meetings with the coaching and support staff. The first practice is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, at 2:30 in the afternoon.
All practices in the leadup to game week will be held at Dornblaser Field, south of the UM campus near the Grizzly soccer, softball, and track stadiums. The Griz will then move back to campus to start their game week routine. Practices are free and open to the public. Fans are asked to observe from the east or west sideline at Dornblaser Field.
Montana will undergo a demanding 21-practice schedule during fall camp as UM prepares for its season opener. For the first time since 2014 and only the fourth time since 2008, the Griz will start the season on the road, traveling to face South Dakota in Vermillion on August 31.

All practices will be held at Dornblaser field unless otherwise noted. Practice generally runs from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Practices on Friday and Saturday, Aug 23-24 are closed to the public. No public scrimmage is scheduled.
