MISSOULA -- Montana Grizzly football will begin practices under third-year head coach Bobby Hauck on Monday, March 2, the program announced Thursday.

UM's spring slate will consist of 15 practices, culminating with the annual Grizzly Scholarship Association (GSA) Griz Spring Game on Friday, April 10, at 6 p.m. at the new Hamilton High School Athletic Complex. The Griz Spring Game will be broadcast statewide on SWX.

Practices are scheduled from approximately 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during practice weeks and will be held in Washington-Grizzly Stadium. All practices are open to the general public and media. Practice times, dates, and locations are subject to change.

The Grizzlies will kick off the spring season on February 5 with a slate of signing day activities, beginning with the annual Grizzly Quarterback Club Signing Day Luncheon, sponsored by Trail West Bank and The Still Room. This event is open to QB Club members only.

Hauck and his staff, along with other Grizzly Athletics representatives, will then hold a pair of Signing Day Socials in the Flathead Valley.

The Mission Mountain Chapter of the GSA will hold the first Signing Day event at MacKenzie River Pizza in Polson from 3-4:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The Flathead Chapter of the GSA will then hold its annual signing day social at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. This event is open to the public, and admission is $10.

On March 6 and 7, Hauck and his staff will once again offer the annual Grizzly High School Coaches Clinic. More details about the two-day event will be available in the near future.
