THREE FORKS — Day 2 of the Southern A district legion baseball tournament in Three Forks pinned familiar rivals against each other for a spot in Saturday's undefeated semifinal game, which sends the winner into Sunday's championship series undefeated.

Belgrade 10, Bozeman (A) 2

Game one featured the No. 4-seeded Bozeman Bucks facing off against the top-ranked Belgrade Bandits.

Mason Jacobsen got the Bandits on the board with a two-run single to center in the first. Then in the second, the Bandits would get some help from a past ball, one run would come in and then another run would come into score as the throw missed the mark at home. The Bandits were up 4-0 in the second.

Cooper VanLuchene, who had a couple RBIs on Thursday, grabbed another with a huge double down the line in left. That put the Bandits up 10-2 and that would be the final score.

Gallatin Valley 12, Butte 2

The Gallatin Valley Outlaws were able to put up a dozen runs in Friday's contest against the Butte Miners, which surely made Brandon Beedie's day on the mound much easier.

Beedie went five full innings, giving up two earned runs while striking out two. A top of the sixth double from Brady Jones put the Outlaws up 11-1 and they would head into the home half of the inning with a 12-1 lead.

With only three outs to spare and two runs needed to stay alive the Miners were only able to squeeze across one run, where they'd eventually fall by a final of 12-2.
