BIG SKY — It was the final night of the Big Sky PBR on Saturday and Matt Triplett led the competition going in with a 172.50 and Lauchlan Richardson was close behind with a 170.
In the competition round, there were only three rides with Alisson De Souza, Matt Triplett, and Colten Jesse.
De Souza scored an 89 to finish his time in Big Sky in the third-place spot with a 177 overall.
Triplett scored an 89.50, barely missing first place, and settled into second with a 262 overall.
After an impressive ride late in the fourth flight, Jesse punched his ticket into the top 10, and rode an impressive 91.50 to win the Big Sky PBR with a 263 overall.
Not only does Jesse get to take home the famed belt buckle and prize money, he won something a little better, a guaranteed spot in the World PBR Championship in Las Vegas.
