DENVER – Will Dissly didn’t wait long to make his presence felt in the National Football League.

The Bozeman High graduate caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson in the first quarter of the Seattle Seahawks’ game against the Denver Broncos, marking Seattle’s first points of the 2018 NFL season and Dissly’s first career catch.

Dissly wasn’t finished, though. Later in the quarter, he got free for a 66-yard gain which led to a Seattle field goal.

Dissly then caught a 24-yard pass in the second quarter to break the franchise record for receiving yards in a player’s first game with 105.

The tight end out of the University of Washington was a fourth-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2018 NFL Draft. Dissly was named the 2013 Montana Gatorade Player of the Year after leading Bozeman to the Class AA state championship as a senior.
