Little League Tournament of Champions held at Dehler Park

Throughout the weekend, little leaguers got to shine underneath the bright lights of Dehler Park at the Tournament of Champions.

Championship play got started on Friday evening, where EconoGlass (Burlington Central) beat Scheels (Boulder-Arrowhead/Big Sky) 8-3 in the junior baseball championship.

The Tournament of Champions concluded on Saturday with three more champions crowned. HDR Engineering (Boulder-Arrowhead) beat Eastlick Chiropractic (Laurel) 4-3 to win the 9-10 majors baseball championship.

Engineering West (Columbus) would claim the 11-12 majors baseball championship with a 7-5 win over Williams Appraisal (Burlington Central).

The senior baseball championship was played between Scheels (Burlington Central) and Little Caesars (Heights). Scheels won the first game of the double-elimination championship series, 7-5. In the decisive second game, Little Caesars (Heights) beats Scheels (Burlington Central) 6-3 to win the championship.
The softball Tournament of Champions was also held this weekend. In the 9-10 majors, Burlington Central was crowned the champion. In the 11-12 majors, Boulder-Arrowhead/Big Sky was the champion. Granite Peak-Laurel was the seniors champion.
