BILLINGS – The Heights National Little League baseball team is headed to the Northwest Regional little league tournament after beating Missoula’s Mount Jumbo 2-0 in a two-game series.

Friday, Heights National shut out Mount Jumbo, 11-0.

Chaise Tracy recorded the final out at 2nd base Saturday to close the game 13-1 by the run rule after four innings.

For the first time in nearly 15 years the Heights National team is headed to the Northwest Regional in San Bernardino.

“It’s awesome,” said Heights National left fielder Tucker Keller. “We started in January. We’ve Just been working for this moment. It’s awesome.”

The team’s first game is against Alaska on August 4 at 4 p.m. pacific time.
