Bozeman Bucks split doubleheader against Billings Scarlets

BOZEMAN – The Bozeman Bucks and Billings Scarlets each took a game in a doubleheader Wednesday evening at Heroes Park in Bozeman.

Andy Larsen led the way for the Scarlets in the opening matchup, going a perfect 4-4 with 3 RBIs as Billings won 6-2. Larsen also started the game on the mound and through 5.1 innings, he had five strikeouts and allowed four hits.

Bozeman’s Hunter Williams threw five innings and struck out six the first game.

The Bucks came back for revenge in the second game as they defeated Billings 7-5 as pitcher Sage McMinn had eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings. The bats were lighting up for Bozeman as five players in the lineup drove in a run.
