BILLINGS – Jonathan India has been assigned to the Billings Mustangs from the Greeneville Reds.
The 5th overall selection in the 2018 MLB Draft will make his Pioneer League debut Thursday night as the Mustangs take on the Missoula Osprey in the first game of their four-game series. India will hit second and play shortstop.
The Coral Springs, Florida, native hit .261 over 14 games for Greeneville before his promotion. This is the seventh consecutive year a first round selection has played for the Mustangs.
