GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls Voyagers defeated the Grand Junction Rockies 5-0 on Monday.

The game started out slow, as neither team scored a run through the first five innings. In the bottom of the sixth, though, the Voyagers finally found some life as Amado Nunez smacked a line drive into left field, bringing in two runs.

The rest of the scoring came in the bottom of the seventh, as Ramon Beltre belted a two-run RBI triple and Logan Sowers added an RBI double. Sowers finished 2-for-3 at the plate on the evening. Beltre was 2-for-4.

Great Falls (19-12) will have an off day on Tuesday before heading to Orem for a three-game series starting Wednesday.
