BOZEMAN – Finn Snyder had a night to remember as the Bozeman Bucks defeated the Butte Miners 12-2 at home on Friday night. With the stands nearly full of fans, Snyder pitched four scoreless innings, striking out four batters and earning the win in the process.
But Snyder also was a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, as well. One of those hits, an inside-the-park solo home run, came in the bottom of the fourth inning to put the Bucks up 8-0. Then in his next at bat just an inning later, Snyder sent a line drive to right center for a two-RBI triple. He totaled three RBI on the night as the Bucks defeated the Miners in just five innings.
The series between these two teams is not over as they will square off Saturday afternoon in Bozeman for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
