MISSOULA – The Bozeman Icedogs traveled to Missoula to take on the Bruins on Saturday night, and the Bruins earned a 5-4 overtime win.
In the first period it was a stalemate as no team scored, but in the second it was a different story. The teams combined for four goals, two each. Knotted up at 2-2 going into the third period, the Bruins started off the scoring. But back-to-back Bozeman goals gave the Icedogs a 4-3 lead.
The Bruins tied it up with just under 10 seconds left in the game, though, and Misha Akatnov netted the game-winner in overtime for the Bruins.
