BIG SKY – Ambitious athletes were in for a day of fun at the Big Sky Resort as they took part in the Kids Adventure Games.
The three-day event includes an obstacle course through the resort, where competitors run, bike and tackle other challenges along the way, like running across water on lily pads. It’s the second consecutive year that the event has been held in Big Sky and fourth overall.
The Kids Adventure Games is growing nationally, holding 11 events across the country from California to Vermont. And it’s getting bigger at the Big Sky Resort. The organization said they saw a 40 percent increase in attendance from last year’s games.
The event runs until Sunday, but the Kid Adventure Games staff is eager to come back to Montana in 2019.
