MISSOULA – This weekend tons of soccer players, families and fans packed Fort Missoula. For our youth sports spotlight we take a look at the second annual Intermountain Champions Cup soccer tournament.
The competition kicked off Friday and concluded Sunday. More than 2,000 players, parents and fans attended the tournament, with 100 boys and girls soccer teams ranging from ages 12 to 19. Tournament director Charlie Vandam says the crowds should bring in around $500,000 to the local economy.
