BOZEMAN — The Bozeman Bucks took on the Helena Representatives on Sunday in the championship game of the Howard Rein A Baseball Tournament at Hero Field.

The Bucks went 4-0 in the tournament this weekend and battled not only tough weather, but competition, as well.

On Sunday, in their final game, they got up 3-0 in the bottom of the third and utilized a strong defense and power pitching for the following four innings to hold onto the win.

“I came into here thinking I wasn’t going to pitch,” senior pitcher Parker McMann said after Sunday’s game, “but I found out I was going to pitch this championship game and I got really excited because pitching is what I love to do.”

“We went 4-0, we hit like a great team, played great defense, had no errors most games, great pitching all tournament and came out with the W,” McMann added..

The Bucks A will head to Belgrade on Tuesday to take on the Bandits.
